The work of Robert Jan Lechner (1987) is rooted in human nature. His work is characterized by symbolism, vivid colors, and a sense of flow. He creates figurative paintings, drawings, and screenprints that depict natural elements such as birds, trees, and humanlike creatures. 

Lechner explores questions about our identity, origins, and future while examining the challenges we face throughout this ongoing transformation. He paints on paper and wood, using gouache, watercolor, and colored pencil. In addition to his work as an independent artist, he creates commissioned illustrations and develops brand identities.
